I like to think that I am an open-minded person (thus the PurpleThinker user name). I do tend to lean Democratic on politics, but have voted Republican and even Independent in the past. Although I have a BA in Early Childhood Education, I have held jobs as a Girl Friday in a department store's merchandising office, Secretary in an interior design office, Executive Secretary in a precious metals storage facility, Administrative Assistant in the Complaints/Grievances/Appeals Department of a health insurance company, and Head Toddler Teacher in a nursery school (for 14 years). I have raised 2 children (one female and one male) and my son and his wife provided me with 2 grandchildren (girl & boy).
