I'm mixed race and I don't look anything like my father. When I was a child, people used to flag my father and I down and ask if I was being kidnapped. I then had to explain to this person that I am mixed and the man with me is my father. The polyamorous scenario could be generalized to explaining uncommon occurrence in that region such as mixed race and LGBT. | |
