You, as a customer, are under no obligation to treat this like a conversation, and doing so will likely be detrimental to your cause. Once you get your case elevated to someone who isn’t going to give you the runaround, then you can worry about social formalities. Until then, your mission is to fast forward, and there’s a sure-fire way of doing that coded into every script: ask for a supervisor three times. | |
