I have absolutely no difficult in giving a nice explanation of things like Cantor's diagonal argument, indeed I did so a lot of times. But I explained them to students or very interested people, with a blackboard or a paper, and taking several minutes. Doing that after an introduction to someone is a totally different setting, do you think it would be appropriate saying (essentially): "now sit down and listen to my lesson..." ? | |
