Oct 23, 2017 at 0:45 comment added user6355 am not convinced that she will try at all, as she hasn't shown any initiative yet for job-searching, and is making excuses to why she cannot start .... When we move, how long of job hunting do you think is a reasonable time frame for you to get a job before you decide to move back - Sounds like you have very little trust or respect for this woman. IMO you should find a new g-friend. But first figure out what you want from a woman...
Oct 20, 2017 at 18:59 comment added J.Todd @MarioGarcia Right? This scenario sounds like not getting a job is grounds for a breakup, not a request that the partner move out. "I'd prefer you not live with me unless you get a job" seems almost inseparable to me from "I'd rather we not be together at all (unless you get a job)".
Oct 20, 2017 at 11:30 comment added Gnudiff Question is do you have common ground on expectations. Have you talked about : if we live together how do you expect our living to be organised? Who does what part of common expenses & tasks? If not, makes sense to do so, before starting to live together
Oct 20, 2017 at 8:28 comment added user510 Why did you ask her to move in with you? Was it something she expected? It sounds like you would rather have her live in her own apartment, perhaps for good reason.
Oct 19, 2017 at 22:52 comment added Andy It sounds like she should only move in when she has a job then.

Oct 19, 2017 at 14:22 comment added Mario Garcia So you are saying you prefer to live alone if she doesn't find a job at all?
