How can I talk to my boyfriend about chores "sharing"?
All that matters is that it works for you two. My husband makes dinner every single night, and weekends. We do it for two reasons. He is a picky eater and he enjoys cooking. I am home, so it would usually make more sense for me to cook as it could be done before he gets home. It works well for us this way though and we like it, so again, as long as it works, it's a great system, however that ends up looking for any couple trying to balance and share duties. I always do clean up. I do not mind that at all. I prefer that to cooking.

Can I correct other people's children in front of them?
@dhein there are many reasons to avoid over using "no". I have 5 kids and almost never use it, even with the grown ones. I instead focus on an actual answer, like "I can help you out next week but this week is too packed" (like with an adult child) and with small ones, something like "We can go to the park tomorrow, today is going to be busy and it will rain later". In the example given in OP I would say, "You pushed that lady out of the way. You have to wait. It's not appropriate to just take over". When they acknowledged that I'd say "Would you want to be pushed off?"

How do I decline contact with a previous buyer?
Correct. If you gave her all the papers, if you are a private citizen selling a used vehicle, she has no legal standing to require you to interact with her at all - according to where I live. I am not sure if there are locations that hold a seller responsible, but none that I know of in the USA do and I can't imagine other places would as that doesn't seem feasible.

Could she be looking for any information that might help, such as previous work that could be under warranty? Did you give her all the paperwork on any prior work? If you did, then I wouldn't even worry about it. You can reply by telling her that you have no additional information to offer and any issues with the car currently don't pertain to you (unless you happen to live some place that holds you responsible). The only person I have ever been willing to work with was family and I legitimately didn't know there was a massive problem (immediately) as I had no inspection.

How to explain to someone that expecting a favour from you is rude?
If you are interested, you should look up the free online quiz for "the 5 Love Languages". It might be that his high score is "acts of service" and this is really about loving you and feeling loved when you do something for him. It's a great quiz for any couple though. It really helps you understand one another a little better.

How to deal with a religious relative who keeps assuming that I am similarly religious?
@Trilarion I do understand the irony of it, but for me, it doesn't personally bother me not to share as if someone isn't wanting to talk about the concepts of Buddhism as an actual philosophical discussion, I don't find myself drawn to talking about it anyway. So for me, it's never felt like "holding back" as much as just avoiding unwanted attempts to change my mind. As for my mother, I just am sad that she is so invested in what I believe that she feels it has an impact on her own "salvation". I don't think that is true, but there is no changing her mind on it. Same for my mother in law.

The first and last questions (and answers) here really explain what I was trying to say about how my beliefs aren't terribly different than atheism, but obviously more articulate and with more information. :) buddhanet.net/10-gqga.htm

@Mari-LouA I am not sure you are totally familiar with Buddhism. I do not believe Buddha to be supernatural at all. I follow a philosophy, not a deity in my case. Some do take a more supernatural sort of interpretation, but like many other religions, there are a number of forms. Buddhism on the whole is more about naming a practice versus specified beliefs.

How to politely receive someone when you don't know how to pronounce their name?
Where I am from hokey covers also anything that might feel awkward. Contrived is a perfect word for it as it means "not occurring naturally". I think in my case it felt that way because am not a "driver", I am a business associate. If I were a driver by profession, I would think signage feels more professional as my actual job is to take them somewhere. For me, as a way to meet someone in person you hope to do business with, holding a sign doesn't feel quite as polished as I like, though I do think it's the most likely option when meeting in an airport.
