Stack Exchange network consists of 183 Q&A communities including Stack Overflow, the largest, most trusted online community for developers to learn, share their knowledge, and build their careers.
This site is going to run into problems if anything that starts with "how do you explain..." makes it an interpersonal skill. I think polling the community to start listing why Stack Exchange is important to them under the guise of "how do you explain it to others" seems like a poor fit for this site. Any connection this might have to the subject of "interpersonal skills" is weak at best.
Isn't it prudent just to assume the author knows what they enjoy and answer their question as asked? Analyzing their motives presumably just to say "don't have the problem" seems outside the purview of this site.
@DanBron I'm curious why this wasn't seen as a better fit for "English Learners" which was set up specifically for these "How to express {X} in English" when there is an English-as-a-2nd-Language or cultural barrier. Interpersonal is more of a sociology site than "how to express this in English."
@Wildbagel Please do not post answers in comments. Comments do not have the features necessary to edit or vet whatever you say here, so "...not confident in the answer" is all the more reason not to post it in comments. Thank you.
